NEWTON CENTRE, MA, May 29, 1996-A new research report from an independent market research firm recognized Segue Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:SEGU) as the technology leader and innovator in software quality testing.
In its report entitled "Test for Success `96", The Standish Group stated that Segue "shines as a technological leader". Sandy Taylor, senior analyst for the Standish Group, said, "Segue has been shipping and supporting Windows NT since 1994 and Windows 95 since 1995. Segue was the first vendor to deliver 32-bit software testing products and this is indicative of Segue's technological leadership." Segue is the clear leader with more installed 32-bit testing solutions than all other market leaders combined.
The Standish report also re-emphasized Segue's technological strength and its role as an industry innovator. Standish recognized Segue's introduction of "self-generating tests" as a "major milestone" in software quality and noted that Segue continues to lead the industry in distributed testing, with support for more platforms than any other test tool available, including all versions of Windows.
